SOME COMMON FIXED POINTS THEOREMS FOR OCCASIONALLY WEAKLY COMPATIBLE MAPPINGS IN MENGER SPACE
Journal of Computer Science and Applied Mathematics, 2022The fixed point theory as a part of the non-linear analysis is the study of function in metric or non-metric settings. K. Menger in1942 introduced the notion of probabilistic metric space (or statistical space or Menger Space) which is an important generalization of metric space and the study of this space was expanded rapidly with the pioneering work ...

Common fixed point theorems for occasionally weakly compatible mappings under relaxed conditions
Nonlinear Analysis: Theory, Methods & Applications, 2010The authors establish several common fixed point theorems for two maps and four maps without using the (E.A.) property and completeness, under a relaxed condition on \(d\), without using the the triangle inequality and assuming symmetry only on the set of points of coincidence. An application to dynamical programming is also given.
