In 2008, Al-Thaga and Shahzad [Generalized I-nonexpansive self-maps and invariant approximations, Acta Math. Sinica 24(5) (2008), 867{876]introduced the notion of occasionally weakly compatible mappings (shortly owcmaps) which is more general than all the commutativity concepts.

In our paper, we prove common fixed-point theorem on the basis of control functions in FM-spaces. Using the fuzzy edition of the Banach contraction principle, the present theorem generalized the Banach contraction principle using the continuous control function. Condition of continuity for mappings \(P,Q,S\) and \(T\) is not required.

Communications on Applied Nonlinear Analysis
In this work, we revisit the concept of fixed points by exploring the role of occasionally weakly compatible (OWC) mappings within the structure of fuzzy metric spaces. Building on the classical fixed point theory, we investigate new conditions under which tripled fixed points exist and are unique.

Common Fixed Point Theorems For Six Occasionally Weakly Compatible Mappings In Fuzzy Metric Spaces
i-manager’s Journal on Mathematics, 2018The fixed point hypotheses in metric spaces are assuming a noteworthy part to develop techniques in arithmetic to take care of issues in connecting applied mathematics and sciences. So the fascination of metric spaces to substantial quantities of mathematicians is understandable.
