A large reduction of direct aerosol cooling over Poland in the last decades
International Journal of Climatology, Volume 42, Issue 7, Page 4129-4146, 15 June 2022., 2022 Almost 50% reduction of aerosol optical depth during last three decades in central Europe. Reduction of aerosol loading leads to positive radiative forcing at top of the atmosphere. Positive trend in direct aerosol radiative forcing is about 4 times bigger than the change of greenhouse gases forcing.
