Duodenal hematoma is a rare complication of endoscopic duodenal biopsy that occurs mainly in children or adults with impaired coagulation. The clinical presentation consists of signs of intestinal obstruction, and pancreatitis and direct hyperbilirubinemia are possible complications caused by ampullary obstruction.
