Weak evidence for variable occultation depth of 55 Cnc e with TESS [PDF]
55 Cnc e is in a 0.73 day orbit transiting a Sun-like star. It has been observed that the occultation depth of this Super-Earth, with a mass of 8$M_{\bigoplus}$ and radius of 2$R_{\bigoplus}$, changes significantly over time at mid-infrared wavelengths.

Abstract Purpose A set of treatment planning strategies were designed and retrospectively implemented for locally advanced, non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients in order to minimize cardiac dose without compromising target coverage goals. Methods Retrospective analysis was performed for 20 NSCLC patients prescribed to 60–66 Gy that received a ...

Uniqueness of radiomic features in non‐small cell lung cancer
Abstract Purpose The uniqueness of radiomic features, combined with their reproducibility, determines the reliability of radiomic studies. This study is to test the hypothesis that radiomic features extracted from a defined region of interest (ROI) are unique to the underlying structure (e.g., tumor). Approach Two cohorts of non‐small cell lung cancer (

Clinical commissioning of an adaptive radiotherapy platform: Results and recommendations
Abstract Online adaptive radiotherapy platforms present a unique challenge for commissioning as guidance is lacking and specialized adaptive equipment, such as deformable phantoms, are rare. We designed a novel adaptive commissioning process consisting of end‐to‐end tests using standard clinical resources.

Retrieval of the Stratospheric Density by the Star Occultation
The navigation by the stellar refraction is important for a LEO (Low-Earth-Orbit) satellite, especially in a GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System)-denied environment, since it is totally autonomous.

Statistical process control to monitor use of a web‐based autoplanning tool
Abstract Purpose To investigate the use of statistical process control (SPC) for quality assurance of an integrated web‐based autoplanning tool, Radiation Planning Assistant (RPA). Methods Automatically generated plans were downloaded and imported into two treatment planning systems (TPSs), RayStation and Eclipse, in which they were recalculated using ...

First Galileo Single-Frequency Occultation Process and Precision Analysis of FengYun3E
This article proposes a single-frequency occultation method whose core is the reconstruction of a second frequency measurement. We process the actual received Galileo E1 single-frequency occultation observation data of FengYun3E to meet the urgent need ...

Volume staging for arteriovenous malformation SRS treatment using VMAT
Abstract Volume staging involves dividing the target volume into smaller parts and treating each part separately. In this study, the feasibility of volume‐staged stereotactic radiosurgery (VS‐SRS) on a linear accelerator using volumetric modulated arc therapy (VMAT) and a frameless patient positioning system is investigated.

Abstract Purpose To evaluate the impact of various noise reduction algorithms and template matching parameters on the accuracy of markerless tumor tracking (MTT) using dual‐energy (DE) imaging. Methods A Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator was used to acquire a series of alternating 60 and 120 kVp images (over a 180° arc) using fast kV switching, on ...
