Estimation and evaluation of COSMIC radio occultation excess phase using undifferenced measurements [PDF]

open access: yesAtmospheric Measurement Techniques, 2017
In the GPS radio occultation technique, the atmospheric excess phase (AEP) can be used to derive the refractivity, which is an important quantity in numerical weather prediction.

A global analysis of Spitzer and new HARPS data confirms the loneliness and metal-richness of GJ 436 b [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
Context. GJ 436b is one of the few transiting warm Neptunes for which a detailed characterisation of the atmosphere is possible, whereas its non-negligible orbital eccentricity calls for further investigation.

Enhancing Optoelectronic Properties in Phthalocyanine‐Based SURMOFs: Synthesis of ABAB Linkers by Avoiding Statistical Condensation with Tailored Building Blocks

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A novel phthalocyanine (PC)‐based metal–organic framework (MOFs) is synthesized using ditopic PC linkers obtained through regioselective statistical condensation. The resulting MOF exhibits significant improvements in electronic absorption, thereby enhancing the material's performance in light harvesting and energy conversion.

Cemil Hakyemez. İmamiyye Şiası ve Temel Kavramları. Ankara: Ankara Okulu Yayınları, 2019.

open access: yesTurkish Journal of Shiite Studies, 2020
Şia'nın günümüze kadar varlığını sürdüren en büyük ve en önemli kollarından biri İmâmiyye’dir. İmâmiyye Şiası, imamların sayısını on iki ile sınırlandırarak diğer Şiî gruplardan ayrışmıştır.

Temporal distribution characteristics of GNSS ionospheric occultation data and its effects in earthquake-ionosphere anomaly detection

open access: yesGeodesy and Geodynamics, 2013
The temporal distribution characteristics of COSMIC occultation data are analyzed in detail, and the limitations in earthquake-ionosphere anomaly detection caused by the temporal distribution characteristics of COSMIC occultation data are discussed using

First Observations of Mars Atmosphere and Ionosphere with Tianwen-1 Radio-Occultation Technique on 5 August 2021

open access: yesRemote Sensing, 2022
The radio-occultation technique can provide vertical profiles of planetary ionospheric and atmospheric parameters, which merit the planetary-climate and space-weather scientific research so far.

Measuring the radius and mass of Planet Nine

open access: yes, 2017
Batygin and Brown (2016) have suggested the existence of a new Solar System planet supposed to be responsible for the perturbation of eccentric orbits of small outer bodies. The main challenge is now to detect and characterize this putative body. Here we

Variations of the high-level Balmer line spectrum of the helium-strong star Sigma Orionis E [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
Using the high-level Balmer lines and continuum, we trace the density structure of two magnetospheric disk segments of the prototypical Bp star sigma Ori E (B2p) as these segments occult portions of the star during the rotational cycle.

Flexibility and Dynamicity Enhances and Controls Supramolecular Self‐Assembly of Zinc(II) Metallogels

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Zinc(II) coordination complexes with tunable aryloxy‐imine ligands exhibit controllable supramolecular self‐assembly into hierarchical fibrous structures. Coordination‐driven stacking, not π–π interactions, enables gelation, dynamic assembly/disassembly, and enhanced nanomechanical properties.

Polarimetry microlensing of close-in planetary systems

open access: yes, 2017
A close-in giant planetary (CGP) system has a net polarization signal whose value varies depending on the orbital phase of the planet. This polarization signal is either caused by the stellar occultation or by reflected starlight from the surface of the ...
