We identified adaptor protein ShcD as upregulated in triple‐negative breast cancer and found its expression to be correlated with reduced patient survival and increased invasion in cell models. Using a proteomic screen, we identified novel ShcD binding partners involved in EGFR signaling pathways.

GNSS Radio Occultation in Advanced Numerical Weather Prediction Models
GPS-Radio Occultation (GPS-RO), and generally, Global Navigation Satellite System Radio Occultation (GNSS-RO), is a technique that measures the refractivity of the Earth's atmosphere as a Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite listens to the radio signal of a ...

Combining asteroid models derived by lightcurve inversion with asteroidal occultation silhouettes [PDF]
Asteroid sizes can be directly measured by observing occultations of stars by asteroids. When there are enough observations across the path of the shadow, the asteroid's projected silhouette can be reconstructed. Asteroid shape models derived from photometry by the lightcurve inversion method enable us to predict the orientation of an asteroid for the ...

Earth-based Stellar Occultation Predictions for Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Titan, and Triton: 2023-2050 [PDF]
In support of studies of decadal-timescale evolution of outer solar system atmospheres and ring systems, we present detailed Earth-based stellar occultation predictions for Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Titan, and Triton for 2023-2050, based on the Gaia DR3 star catalog and near-IR K-band photometry from the 2MASS catalog. We tabulate the number of

A potential tumor suppressor role of PLK2 in glioblastoma
PLK2 was consistently downregulated in GBM tissues. Overexpression of PLK2 in GBM cell lines U87MG and U251 reduced their tumorigenic potential and enhanced cell cycle arrest and apoptosis. Suggesting that PLK2 overexpression could potentially be leveraged as a therapeutic strategy to inhibit tumor progression and enhance apoptosis, providing new ...

The investigation of sporadic E or Es layers typically relies on ground-based or satellite data. This study compares the Es layers recorded in ionograms with those detected using GNSS L1 signal-to-noise ratio data from FORMOSAT-3/COSMIC radio occultation

Estimation and evaluation of COSMIC radio occultation excess phase using undifferenced measurements [PDF]
In the GPS radio occultation technique, the atmospheric excess phase (AEP) can be used to derive the refractivity, which is an important quantity in numerical weather prediction.

Asteroid occultations today and tomorrow: toward the GAIA era [PDF]
Context: Observation of star occultations is a powerful tool to determine shapes and sizes of asteroids. This is key information necessary for studying the evolution of the asteroid belt and to calibrate indirect methods of size determination, such as the models used to analyze thermal infrared observations.
