Scattering‐Enhanced Light Extraction for Radiative Thermal Load Mitigation in Fluorescent Films

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Scattering‐enhanced light extraction overcomes total internal reflection limitations in fluorescent films, expanding the sub‐ambient cooling color range from 26.7% to 64.9% in CIE 1931 space. Optimal TiO2 nanoparticle doping (0.5 wt.%) achieves 85.9% light extraction efficiency and 89.5% visible reflectance.

Enhancing the Output Performance of Tubular Gas‐Liquid Mixing Triboelectric Nanogenerator by Bulk Effect

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A novel tubular bulk effect gas‐liquid mixing triboelectric nanogenerator (TBE‐GL‐TENG) is designed to address the relatively low output power density imposed by the traditional interface effect. The introduction of the electrode into the PTFE tube successfully couples the bulk effect with the gas‐liquid mixing flow system, significantly improving the ...

Multi‐Instably Mechanical Systems for Computing‐Storing Functions

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Multi‐instably mechanical systems for the functions of scientific computing, logical operations, and data storage, i.e., solving fourth‐order ordinary differential equations (ODEs) by fourth‐order ODE solvers, realizing logical operations by digital logic gates, and stably storing data by mechanical memories.

Temperature Thresholds Govern Microbial‐Mediated Dissolved Organic Carbon Dynamics in Coastal Ecosystems

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Coastal dissolved organic carbon (DOC) represents one of the largest reduced carbon pools on Earth, and they are influenced by temperature. Across 7.6–35.9 °C ranges, the microbial‐mediated DOC dynamics is characterized by three temperature thresholds.
