Small-Scale Oceanic Turbulence
1980Publisher Summary The analysis of small-scale turbulence spectral characteristics has led to the revision of earlier existing notions of oceanic turbulence as a well developed flow at very high Reynolds number. In most cases, the turbulence in the ocean has no clear-cut ranges of universal similarity, a consequence of the small values of the Reynolds

Weak Turbulence in Ocean Waves
2002Abstract : The long-term goal is to further develop weak turbulence theory, which is used to predict the evolution of spectral energy density in ocean surface waves and internal waves. Isolate, identify and quantify sources of possible discrepancies between numerical solutions of weak turbulence modeling and observations of ocean waves.
