Methodology used in the lab for molecular analyses and links to the Sequence Read Archive of selected samples from the Tara Oceans Expedition (2009-2013) [PDF]
The Tara Oceans Expedition (2009-2013) sampled the world oceans on board a 36 m long schooner, collecting environmental data and organisms from viruses to planktonic metazoans for later analyses using modern sequencing and state-of-the-art imaging ...

Tailored Diketopyrrolopyrrole Derivatives for Efficient Deep‐Red Organic Lasers
Tailored diketopyrrolopyrrole derivatives exhibit high stable amplified spontaneous emission with single or dual bands. Incorporated into distributed‐feedback lasers based on one‐ and two‐dimensional dichromated‐gelatin diffractive gratings, these materials provide a robust, flexible platform for integrated organic deep‐red light sources. ABSTRACT Deep‐

Abstract In this study, we explored the diversity and evolution of opsins using meta-omic data from the Tara Oceans and Tara Polar Circle expeditions, one of the largest marine datasets available. By using sequence similarity methods and phylogenetic analyses, we identified opsins across the different metazoan groups.

Make‐Use‐Remake: Toward Indefinite Low‐Temperature Material Loops
We introduce a regenerable materials platform built from microparticles bound by a temperature‐responsive polymer shell, enabling strong, processable structures from diverse feedstocks. The material is shaped at low temperatures (80°C) using common manufacturing methods and reprocessed repeatedly in the presence of water, demonstrating stable ...
