Multifaceted amelioration of cutaneous photoageing by (0.3%) retinol

This investigation focusses on changes to the cutaneous anatomy in response to increasing concentrations of retinol (0.1%, 0.3%, and 1% retinol), as compared with baseline and vehicle control‐treated skin. These representative images show retinol‐induced alterations at the skins' barrier and in epidermal architecture.

The efficacy of synthetic pseudo‐ceramide for dry and rough lips

For the first time, the effect of the synthetic pseudo‐ceramide pCer to improve the roughness of the lips was shown excluding the effect of occlusiveness derived from the formulation. pCer was first absorbed in rough lip areas, improved the ceramide profile and consequently restored the barrier function.
