Principles of OCTA and Applications in Clinical Neurology [PDF]
The article reviews the recent findings on the use of optical coherence tomography angiography (OCTA) in neurology.OCTA is a new addition to the powerful and complementary technology of the OCT. Due to its noninvasiveness, and reproducibility, it is possible to obtain high-resolution 3D images of the vessels of the human eye.

Optical coherence tomography angiography (OCTA) is a noninvasive, fast, and cost-effective modality that provides high-resolution 3D imaging of the retinal microvasculature. OCTA uses the variation in optical coherence tomography (OCT) signal caused by moving particles—namely, red blood cells—as the contrast agent for imaging blood flow.

Syntheses of Octa(dialkylamino)azaphthalocyanines
Journal of Porphyrins and Phthalocyanines, 1999Nickel(II) octa(4-morpholinyl)- (11a) and copper(II) octa(1-pyrrolidinyl)- (11b) azaphthalocyanines have been prepared from the corresponding pyrazine diiminoimides (10). The precursor pyrazine dicarbonitriles (2) gave 6-cyanopyrazine-5-alkyl carboximidates (3-9) as stable intermediates when reacted with ammonia and catalytic amounts of sodium ...

Organotricyclohexa(octa)siloxanes
Bulletin of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR Division of Chemical Science, 1975We synthesized eight new polyorganotricyclohexa(octa)siloxanes with the cyclotetrasiloxane and cyclotrisiloxane rings in the cis-position relative to the starting cyclotetrasiloxane.

OCTA comprises a collection of simulation engines and the graphical user interface tool GOURMET. All the engines use user definable format (UDF) files for input and output, and GOURMET can be used to edit and analyze UDF files. Engines can easily collaborate with each other using UDF files.

Journal of Thermal Analysis and Calorimetry, 2013
The mechanisms of the thermal degradation of polyhedral oligomeric octaphenylsilsesquioxane (OPS), octa(nitrophenyl)silsesquioxane (ONPS), and octa(aminophenyl)silsesquioxane (OAPS) were investigated. The –NO2 or –NH2 substituents on the phenyl group affected the mechanism of the POSS thermal degradation.

A facile synthesis of octa(carboxyphenyl)silsesquioxane
Dalton Transactions, 2012A facile method was reported for a robust octa(carboxyphenyl) functionalized silsesquioxane (OCS), which offers excellent potential as a nanobuilding-block for the preparation of functional materials. OCS was fully characterized by FT-IR, (1)H, (13)C, (29)Si-NMR, Maldi-TOF-MS spectra, and W-XRD analysis.

Binding of octa-plus porphyrazines to DNA
Journal of Inorganic Biochemistry, 2000We present a preliminary report of the interaction of octacationic N-methyl-pyridyl metalloporphyrazines, M=Cu(II) (Cupz+8) and Zn(II) (Znpz+8), with calf thymus DNA. These were monitored by electronic absorption spectroscopy, and in the case of Znpz+8, also by emission spectroscopy.

Oxidation of the octa-(ethyl)diphosphaferrocene
Journal of Organometallic Chemistry, 2003Abstract The octa-(ethyl)-diphosphaferrocene (1) reacts with NOBF4 in dichloromethane to yield a polymer (2) featuring diphosphaferrocene ligands (1) that bridge [Fe(NO)2] units through their two phosphorus atom lone pairs. The X-ray crystal structure of 2 has been recorded.
