OCTA uses the variation in optical coherence tomography (OCT) signal caused by moving particles—namely, red blood cells—as the contrast agent for imaging blood flow.

OCTA comprises a collection of simulation engines and the graphical user interface tool GOURMET. All the engines use user definable format (UDF) files for input and output, and GOURMET can be used to edit and analyze UDF files. Engines can easily collaborate with each other using UDF files.

The mechanisms of the thermal degradation of polyhedral oligomeric octaphenylsilsesquioxane (OPS), octa(nitrophenyl)silsesquioxane (ONPS), and octa(aminophenyl)silsesquioxane (OAPS) were investigated. The –NO2 or –NH2 substituents on the phenyl group affected the mechanism of the POSS thermal degradation.
