We present an octave-spanning soliton microcomb at 15 GHz repetition rate with higher-order dispersive waves, those spectrum contains ∼8800 comb lines. The microcomb is generated in a single Si3N4microresonator by using pulse pumping.

An electronic musical instrument for reproducing chords or pure tones in a fixed interval scale, called Modified Eastern Music Tru-Scale Octave Transformation by the inventors, without overtone collision. The instrument includes a memory for storing and reproducing the 24 octave frequency interval system.

Nonlinear Optics and its Applications 2026
We demonstrate generation of an octave-spanning soliton frequency comb in a single 15 GHz silicon nitride racetrack resonator pumped by picosecond pulses synchronized to the cavity repetition rate. The soliton state is achieved with 600 mW of average pump power.

Electronic Low-Loss Phase Shifter With Near Octave Bandwidth
2000This paper describes design of the broadband electronic low-loss phase shifter. Proposed phase shifter is intended for use in microwave transmission line resonator [4]. Operating frequency is 1.75GHz with near octave bandwidth. Phase shifter is electronically tuned. It uses varactor diodes for phase shift adjustment.
