Abstract Objectives Obsessive–compulsive disorder (OCD) is a psychiatric disorder with alterations of cortico‐striato‐thalamo‐cortical loops and impaired performance monitoring. Electrophysiological markers such as conflict‐related medial frontal theta (MFT) and error‐related negativity (ERN) may be altered by clinically effective deep brain ...

Seven‐Fold Compression of Mid‐Infrared Pulses Using a Series of Titanium Dioxide Plates
Here, a sequence of three titanium dioxide plates is used to compress a mid‐infrared pulse from 103.9 femtoseconds to 14.1 femtoseconds (about two optical cycles) without the use of external dispersion compensation. The approach maintains high efficiency and produces pulses with a stable carrier‐envelope phase, providing a compact platform for ...

This work presents a magnetic‐bearing acoustic resonator that overcomes the thermodynamics limit of sound absorption. By introducing tunable negative stiffness, it achieves broadband low‐frequency absorption within a compact cavity, far exceeding the performance achievable by classic mass‐tuned designs.

A nuclear‐pore‐inspired nested dual‐loop architecture redistributes electromagnetic energy through coupled transport, confinement, and dissipation pathways. Integrated with Co/Fe3O4 dual‐magnetic composites and topology optimization, the 11‐mm‐thick absorber delivers continuous 2–40 GHz attenuation, raises finite‐band structural utilization to 82%, and
