3D Printed Materials with Nanovoxelated Elastic Moduli

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, Volume 37, Issue 15, April 16, 2025.
A novel 3D printing method enables the fabrication of materials with precisely controlled mechanical properties at nanoscale resolution. A volume‐conserving photoresist combined with the free and open‐source software, OpenScribe, achieves mechanical transitions over 770 nanometers ‐ representing a 130‐fold improvement over existing approaches.

Structural Basis and Mechanism of a Unique Haemophore in the Haem‐Iron Acquisition by Riemerella anatipestifer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 12, Issue 13, April 3, 2025.
This study reveals the structural basis and mechanism of RhuH as a haemophore in Riemerella anatipestifer. Secreted by outer membrane vesicles (OMVs), RhuH captures haem with high affinity from host hemoglobin in two forms: a) released from OMVs, binding and transferring haem to outer membrane receptor, and b) haem‐bound on the OMVs surface, returning ...

Generation of Site‐Specifically Labeled Affinity Reagents via Use of a Self‐Labeling Single Domain Antibody

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 12, Issue 14, April 10, 2025.
Several methods have been used to label antibodies to facilitate visualization of cognate targets. Here, we leverage a new variety of conjugation chemistry, based on a crosslinking nanobody, to label target‐specific nanobody constructs with functionalities of choice.

Effect of Microscale Fabrication on Multi‐Directional Mechanical Properties of Additively Manufactured Poly Lactic Acid With Grid Infills

open access: yesApplied Research, Volume 4, Issue 2, April 2025.
Quasi‐static compression tests were conducted on cubic specimens (3D‐printed PLA) with six patterns to evaluate their homogenized elastic behavior in three directions. Three finite element models (shell, solid and nonuniform section) were developed and compared with each other according to the elastic properties determined by tensile tests ABSTRACT In ...
