Temperature dependence of quasiparticle interference in $d$-wave superconductors

open access: yesSciPost Physics Core, 2023
We investigate the temperature dependence of quasiparticle interference in the high $T_c$-cuprates using an exact-diagonalization + Monte-Carlo based scheme to simulate the $d$-wave superconducting order parameter. The quasiparticle interference patterns

The octet meson and octet baryon interaction with strangeness and the Λ(1405) [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Modern Physics E, 2015
The octet meson and baryon interaction with strangeness [Formula: see text] is studied fully relativistically with chiral Lagrangian. In this paper, a Bethe–Salpeter equation (BSE) approach with spectator quasipotential approximation is applied to study the reactions [Formula: see text] with [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text] with all ...

Machine learning assisted design of new lattice core for sandwich structures with superior load carrying capacity

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2021
Herein new lattice unit cells with buckling load 261–308% higher than the classical octet unit cell were reported. Lattice structures have been widely used in sandwich structures as lightweight core. While stretching dominated and bending dominated cells

Sum rules for baryon decuplet magnetic moments [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
In chiral models with SU(3) group structure, baryon decuplet and octet magnetic moments are evaluated by constructing their sum rules to yield theoretical predictions. In these sum rules we exploit six experimentally known baryon magnetic moments.

Ethynyl‐Bridged Bis‐quinolinium Dyes: Studies of the Dependence of Different Types of Conjugation on Spectroscopic Properties

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Organic Chemistry, Volume 2022, Issue 47, December 19, 2022., 2022
Bis‐quinolinium salts are presented, the positive charges of which are combined by different types of conjugation. These result in characteristic differences in the LUMO geometries, charge distributions according to the rules of resonance as well as in UV/Vis and 13C NMR spectroscopic properties. The resonance frequencies of the triple bond can be used

Color-octet quarkonia production. II [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review D, 1996
We calculate the lowest order hadronic cross sections for producing colored heavy quark-antiquark pairs in $L=S=0$ and $L=S=1$ configurations. Such $Q\Qbar[{}^1S_0^{(8)}]$ and $Q\Qbar[{}^3P_J^{(8)}]$ states hadronize into $ _\Q$ quarkonia at the same order in the NRQCD velocity expansion as previously considered $Q\Qbar[{}^3S_1^{(8)}]$ pairs.

Experimental and Numerical Vibration Analysis of Octet-Truss-Lattice-Based Gas Turbine Blades

open access: yesMetals, 2022
This paper aims to investigate the utilization of octet truss lattice structures in gas turbine blades to achieve weight reduction and improvement in vibration characteristics, which are desired for turbine blades to improve the efficiency and load ...

Color Octet Scalar Production at the LHC [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
New physics at the weak scale that can couple to quarks typically gives rise to unacceptably large flavor changing neutral currents. An attractive way to avoid this problem is to impose the principal of minimal flavor violation (MFV).

Method development for quantitative monitoring of monoclonal antibodies in upstream cell‐culture process samples with limited sample preparation – An evaluation of various capillary coatings

open access: yesELECTROPHORESIS, Volume 44, Issue 1-2, Page 96-106, January 2023., 2023
Abstract Monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) have become an important class of biopharmaceuticals used for the treatment of various diseases. Their quantification during the manufacturing process is important. In this work, a capillary zone electrophoresis (CZE) method was developed for the monitoring of the mAb concentration during cell‐culture processes ...
