Sum rules for baryon decuplet magnetic moments [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
In chiral models with SU(3) group structure, baryon decuplet and octet magnetic moments are evaluated by constructing their sum rules to yield theoretical predictions. In these sum rules we exploit six experimentally known baryon magnetic moments.

Color-octet quarkonia production. II [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review D, 1996
We calculate the lowest order hadronic cross sections for producing colored heavy quark-antiquark pairs in $L=S=0$ and $L=S=1$ configurations. Such $Q\Qbar[{}^1S_0^{(8)}]$ and $Q\Qbar[{}^3P_J^{(8)}]$ states hadronize into $ _\Q$ quarkonia at the same order in the NRQCD velocity expansion as previously considered $Q\Qbar[{}^3S_1^{(8)}]$ pairs.

Large-Nc operator analysis of hyperon–nucleon interactions in SU(3) chiral effective field theory

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2019
We study octet–octet baryon (JP=12+) contact interactions in SU(3) chiral effective field theory by using large-Nc operator analysis. By applying the 1/Nc expansion of the Hartree Hamiltonian, we find 15 operators in the octet–octet baryon potential ...

Octet baryon magnetic moments in light cone QCD sum rules [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
Octet baryon magnetic moments are calculated in framework of the light cone QCD sum rules. The analysis is carried for the general form of the interpolating currents for octet baryons.

Meson–baryon coupling constants of the SU(3) baryons with flavor SU(3) symmetry breaking

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2018
We investigate the strong coupling constants for the baryon octet–octet, decuplet–octet, and decuplet–decuplet vertices with pseudoscalar mesons within a general framework of the chiral quark-soliton model, taking into account the effects of flavor SU(3)

Fingerprinting the contribution of colored scalars to the $$H^+ W^- Z(\gamma )$$ H + W - Z ( γ ) vertex

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2020
Color-octet scalars arise in various Grand Unification scenarios and also in other models of new physics. They are also postulated for minimal flavour violation. Purely phenomenological imprints of such scalars are therefore worth looking at.

Experimental and Numerical Vibration Analysis of Octet-Truss-Lattice-Based Gas Turbine Blades

open access: yesMetals, 2022
This paper aims to investigate the utilization of octet truss lattice structures in gas turbine blades to achieve weight reduction and improvement in vibration characteristics, which are desired for turbine blades to improve the efficiency and load ...

Same-Sign Dileptons from Colored Scalars in the Flavorful Top-Coloron Model [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
In this paper we study the phenomenology of color-octet and color-singlet scalars in the flavorful Top-Coloron model. We discuss the relevant production mechanisms at hadron colliders and the dominant decay modes, highlighting the most promising ...

Scalar fully-heavy tetraquark states $$QQ^\prime {\bar{Q}} \bar{Q^\prime }$$ Q Q ′ Q ¯ Q ′ ¯ in QCD sum rules

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2021
Very recently, the LHCb Collaboration observed distinct structures with the $$cc{\bar{c}}{\bar{c}}$$ c c c ¯ c ¯ in the $$J/\Psi $$ J / Ψ -pair mass spectrum.
