Multiplexed Bio‐detection on an Interferometric Optical Waveguide Assembly
Multiplexed remote bio‐detection is demonstrated through an image conduit composed of 3012 individual cores and coated with interferometric layers. The proof of concept of biodetection is performed through the kinetic monitoring of two complementary DNA strands hybridization paving the way for applications in multiplex in situ biosensing, and ...

Spectral Continuity in Dense QCD
The vector mesons in three-flavor quark matter with chiral and diquark condensates are studied using the in-medium QCD sum rules. The diquark condensate leads to a mass splitting between the flavor-octet and flavor-singlet channels.

This study reveals the structural basis and mechanism of RhuH as a haemophore in Riemerella anatipestifer. Secreted by outer membrane vesicles (OMVs), RhuH captures haem with high affinity from host hemoglobin in two forms: a) released from OMVs, binding and transferring haem to outer membrane receptor, and b) haem‐bound on the OMVs surface, returning ...

The contribution of color-octet current color-octet current toD decays [PDF]
Bauer and Stech pointed out that inD decaysa1 anda2 are approximately equal toc1 andc2 obtained from the renormalization group equation. This means that the non-leading 1/N c term in the formulation vanishes. Many authors conjecture that there is a cancellation between the 1/N c term and an extra term emerging from the analysis of non-factorizable ...

Meson–baryon coupling constants of the SU(3) baryons with flavor SU(3) symmetry breaking
We investigate the strong coupling constants for the baryon octet–octet, decuplet–octet, and decuplet–decuplet vertices with pseudoscalar mesons within a general framework of the chiral quark-soliton model, taking into account the effects of flavor SU(3)

Several methods have been used to label antibodies to facilitate visualization of cognate targets. Here, we leverage a new variety of conjugation chemistry, based on a crosslinking nanobody, to label target‐specific nanobody constructs with functionalities of choice.

A description of χ cJ → VV decays within the effective field theory framework
We study χ cJ → VV decays using the QCD effective field theory approach. The helicity suppressed decay amplitudes are also considered. The colour-singlet contributions of these amplitudes suffer from the endpoint singularities, it is shown that they can ...

Influence of Infill Design in Fabrication of 3D-printed PLA Parts Using FDM
The present work examines the mechanical characteristics of polylactic acid (PLA) samples manufactured in 3D printing using various infill patterns. The infill patterns investigated are cuboid, grid, and octet, prepared at a constant infill density of 50

Composite octet searches with jet substructure [PDF]
Abstract Many new physics models with strongly interacting sectors predict a mass hierarchy between the lightest vector meson and the lightest pseudoscalar mesons. We examine the power of jet substructure tools to extend the 7 TeV LHC sensitivity to these new states for the case of QCD octet mesons, considering both two gluon and ...

ABSTRACT Patients with chronic inflammation are burdened with anemia of inflammation (AI), where inflammatory cytokines inhibit erythropoiesis, impede erythropoietin production, and limit iron availability by inducing the iron regulator hepcidin. High hepcidin hinders iron absorption and recycling, thereby worsening the impaired erythropoiesis by ...
