Joubert Syndrome: A Rare Case of Two Sudanese Sisters With Neurodevelopmental Delays and Diagnostic Challenges

open access: yesClinical Case Reports, Volume 13, Issue 8, August 2025.
ABSTRACT Joubert Syndrome's rarity and diagnostic complexity, especially in Sudan, pose significant challenges in low‐resource settings. Sibling cases with neurodevelopmental delays and MRI‐confirmed molar tooth sign highlight the urgent need for heightened clinical suspicion, accessible neuroimaging, and genetic counseling to address underdiagnosis in

Unraveling the major role of vascular (R2') contributions to R2* signal relaxation at ultra‐high‐field MRI: A comprehensive analysis with quantitative gradient recalled echo in mouse brain

open access: yesMagnetic Resonance in Medicine, Volume 94, Issue 2, Page 761-770, August 2025.
Abstract Purpose Ultra‐high‐field (UHF) R2* relaxometry is often used for in vivo analysis of biological tissue microstructure without accounting for vascular contributions to R2* signal, that is, the BOLD signal component, and magnetic field inhomogeneities.

Malignant Rhabdoid Tumors of Cranial Nerves—A Clinically Distinct Group With Characteristic Neuroradiological, Histopathological, and Molecular Features

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, Volume 72, Issue 8, August 2025.
ABSTRACT Background Malignant rhabdoid tumors occasionally develop along cranial nerves, but clinical, histopathological, and molecular features have not been examined in larger series. Procedure We retrospectively interrogated data from the European Rhabdoid Registry, EU‐RHAB, to identify malignant rhabdoid tumors affecting cranial nerves.
