Characterizing Pyramidal Hadamard Designs With the Largest Number of Fixed Points

open access: yesJournal of Combinatorial Designs, Volume 34, Issue 12, Page 569-573, December 2026.
ABSTRACT A symmetric ( v , k , λ )‐design is said to be f‐pyramidal, with f < v − 1, under the action of a group G if G acts as an automorphism group fixing f points and acting sharply transitively on the remaining ones. We show that, necessarily, f ≤ v − 2 ( k − λ ). In particular, for a Hadamard design with parameters ( v , k , λ ) = ( 4 m − 1 , 2 m −

On Fork‐Free t‐Perfect Graphs

open access: yesJournal of Graph Theory, Volume 113, Issue 4, Page 553-570, December 2026.
ABSTRACT In an effort to understand the complexity of the maximum independent set problem, Chvátal introduced t‐perfect graphs. While a full characterization of this class remains open, important progress has been made for claw‐free graphs [Bruhn and Stein, Math. Program. 2012] and P 5‐free graphs [Bruhn and Fuchs, SIAM J. Discrete Math. 2017]. We take

Harmonious Labelings of <i>C</i><i>j</i>∪<i>C</i><i>k</i>∪<i>C</i><i>l</i>

open access: yes, 2011
The disjoint union Cj∪Ck∪Cl is component of three cycles Cj, Ck and Cl. In this paper, we show that the disjoint union graph Cj∪Ck∪Cl is harmonious for odd j+k+l with l ≥j + k + 5.

Context‐free graphs and their transition groups

open access: yesTransactions of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 13, Issue 1, December 2026.
Abstract Starting from context‐free inverse graphs, we introduce a new class of groups and study their structural properties. We establish closure properties, show that their coword problems are context‐free, analyze torsion elements, and realize them as subgroups of the asynchronous rational group.

Experimental methods in chemical engineering: Cyclic voltammetry—CV

open access: yesThe Canadian Journal of Chemical Engineering, Volume 104, Issue 11, Page 5776-5827, November 2026.
Abstract Cyclic voltammetry (CV) is a foundational electroanalytical technique for investigating redox behaviour and evaluating material performance across fields such as molecular electrochemistry, electrocatalysis, sensing, and energy storage. Despite its widespread use, a gap remains between formal electrochemical theory and the practical data ...

Quantitative Assessment of Mesoscale Cellular Order and Organization in the Mouse Hippocampus

open access: yesHippocampus, Volume 36, Issue 6, November 2026.
ABSTRACT The hippocampus is characterized by a stereotypical macroscopic structure, where the nuclei are densely and heterogeneously packed among different subregions of the hippocampus. Despite the fact that tissue‐specific cellular organization has been implicated in neural function, it has been technically challenging to quantitatively analyze ...

Beyond Directions: Symmetry‐Aware Rotation Sets for Triaxial Diffusion Encoding by Geometric Filter Optimization

open access: yesMagnetic Resonance in Medicine, Volume 96, Issue 5, Page 2489-2504, November 2026.
ABSTRACT Purpose To improve the accuracy of diffusion‐weighted powder average signals for diffusion encoding with arbitrary b‐tensors. Methods We identify an intrinsic dihedral (D2) symmetry of diffusion signals for arbitrary diffusion encoding, which defines their natural signal space (a quotient of 3D rotations). Based on this, we propose a method to
