Exact solutions to the family of Fisher's reaction‐diffusion equation using Elzaki homotopy transformation perturbation method

open access: yesEngineering Reports, 2020
In this research work, we propose an unprecedented hybrid algorithm which involves the coupling of a new integral transform, namely, the Elzaki transform and the well‐known homotopy perturbation method called the Elzaki homotopy transformation ...

Application of Information Communication Technology in Developing Critical Thinking Among Social Studies Pre-Service Teachers in Kogi State

open access: yesInterdisciplinary Journal of Education, 2022
The study examined the application of ICT in developing critical thinking among Social Studies pre-service teachers and assessed the role of gender on the application of ICT in Social Studies. Two hypotheses were tested in this study. The study adopted

Continuity equations and ODE flows with non-smooth velocity [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
In this paper we review many aspects of the well-posedness theory for the Cauchy problem for the continuity and transport equations and for the ordinary differential equation (ODE). In this framework, we deal with velocity fields that are not smooth, but

Efficient and Robust Standing Postures of Quadruped Robots

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
A calibrated static framework estimates load, optimizes torques, and adapts posture so quadruped robots stand efficiently and robustly under external payloads, achieving up to 50% lower torque demand. Inspired by the natural posture adjustments of animals under external loading, this article presents an optimization‐based framework for minimizing joint

A solitary wave solution to the generalized Burgers-Fisher's equation using an improved differential transform method: A hybrid scheme approach

open access: yesHeliyon, 2021
In this research, an unrivalled hybrid scheme which involves the coupling of the new Elzaki integral transform (an improved version of Laplace transform) and a modified differential transform called the projected differential transform (PDTM) have been ...

Photonic Time Crystals and Time‐Varying Electromagnetic Metamatter: A New Direction for Ultrafast Tunable Photonic and Microwave Materials and Devices

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Photonic time crystals (PTCs) are systems in which electromagnetic parameters are modulated periodically in time, producing momentum bandgaps via temporal scattering rather than spatial Bragg processes. This review examines the theoretical frameworks, modeling, and computational tools for time‐varying media, and summarizes experimental demonstrations ...

On the solvability of a higher-order semilinear ODE

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Qualitative Theory of Differential Equations
The existence of at least one or two nontrivial solutions to a general higher-order boundary value problem is established by using variational tools. Two of the results are obtained without any asymptotic behaviour at infinity of potential $F$ of the ...

Traction Force Microscopy for Viscoelastic Substrates: A Semi‐Analytical Method

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A semi‐analytical viscoelastic traction force microscopy framework is introduced for quantifying time‐resolved cell tractions on flat finite‐thickness substrates. The method generalizes elastic traction force microscopy to Generalized Maxwell materials, identifies when elastic approximations remain valid and, when they do not, shows that inferred ...

Seedless One‐Pot Synthesis of Colloidal InAs Quantum Dots Enabling a High‐Accuracy Photoplethysmography Oximeter

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A real‐time, non‐contact photoplethysmography (PPG) system based on InAs colloidal quantum dots (CQDs) synthesized via a seedless injection synthesis is demonstrated. The measured oxygen saturation shows considerable agreement with commercial PPG devices.
