Comparison of Two Posterior Minimally Invasive Approaches for Odontoid Fractures: Midline Nuchal Ligament Approach vs. Paramedian Muscle‐Splitting Approach

The midline nuchal ligament approach yields clinical outcomes similar to those of the paramedian muscle‐splitting technique for odontoid fractures, while offering a more stable surgical procedure and reducing iatrogenic injury to the cervical posterior muscles and the greater occipital nerve.
