Novel Surgical Strategy System for Juvenile Nasopharyngeal Angiofibroma: A Focus on Feeding Artery Management

open access: yesWorld Journal of Otorhinolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objectives For intraoperative bleeding control in patients with juvenile nasopharyngeal angiofibroma (JNA), we developed a novel surgical strategy system. This system is focused on feeding artery management, based on the spatial relationship between the tumor entity and feeding artery as determined by three‐dimensional reconstruction.

An overview of the postcranial osteology of caecilians (Gymnophiona, Lissamphibia)

open access: yesThe Anatomical Record, Volume 309, Issue 3, Page 674-699, March 2026.
Abstract Caecilians comprise a relatively small (~220 species) group (Gymnophiona) of snake‐like or worm‐like, mostly tropical amphibians. Most adult caecilians are fossorial, although some species may live in aquatic or semi‐aquatic environments, either as larvae or adults.

Fractures of the odontoid process

open access: yesThe Journal of Trauma: Injury, Infection, and Critical Care, 1977
In a series of 32 fractures of odontoid process of axis, 16 cases were fresh and 16 cases were old fractures. Almost of the fresh cases were treated conservative methed and obtained bony union and relieved from cord symptomes.Almost of the old cases presented atlant-axial instability and 10 cases were suffered from delayed myelopathy.

Molecular Landscape in Limb Anomalies: Diagnostic Yield and New Candidate Genes

open access: yesClinical Genetics, Volume 109, Issue 3, Page 424-436, March 2026.
In 132 individuals with limb anomalies, diagnostic yield was 36% (47/132), including 25 novel variants, three cases with new phenotypes, and two candidate loci, HOXA11 and a small 2q31.1 deletion. Mouse data and exome‐wide analysis, key in identifying the candidate loci, represent an important opportunity for gene discovery.
