The Solution ofSO(3) through a Single Parameter ODE [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Applied Mathematics, 2014
In many applications we need to solve an orthogonal transformation tensorQ∈SO(3) from a tensorial equationQ˙ = WQunder a given spin historyW. In this paper, we address some interesting issues about this equation. A general solution ofQis obtained by transforming the governing equation into a new one in the space ofℝP3.

Illuminating point‐of‐care diagnostics with aggregation‐induced emission biosensors

open access: yesFlexMat, EarlyView.
This review highlights the application of aggregation‐induced emission luminogens (AIEgens) in point‐of‐care (POC) diagnostics for disease biomarker detection. It systematically examines a range of biosensing platforms, including lateral flow immunoassays, microfluidic chips, and electrochemiluminescence sensors, alongside their utility in detecting ...

Short‐Term 6PPD‐Q Exposure alters Tight‐Junction‐Related Gene Expression Without Acute Lethality in Japanese Medaka Oryzias latipes

open access: yesJournal of Applied Toxicology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT 6PPD‐quinone (6PPD‐Q), a transformation product of the tire antioxidant 6PPD, causes acute mortality in several salmonid species, but its toxicity varies markedly among fish species. Disruption of vascular‐barrier integrity and inflammatory signaling has been proposed as a key mechanism of 6PPD‐Q toxicity.

Responses of primary producers, anoxia, and chemical feedback to Late Glacial climate change: Insights from a paired lake approach

open access: yesJournal of Quaternary Science, EarlyView.
Abstract Worldwide, lacustrine ecosystems are threatened by eutrophication and deoxygenation. Both processes are driven by the combined effects of human activities and climate change. Understanding the pre‐anthropogenic nexus between warming, eutrophication, deoxygenation, and related feedback is essential to determine how lakes respond to rapid ...

Separation of trichothecene mycotoxins in a matrix of hemp (Cannabis sativa L.) seed, and quantification of deoxynivalenol in hemp grain infected with Fusarium graminearum

open access: yesJSFA reports, EarlyView.
Abstract Background Fusarium graminearum, one of the causal agents of ear rot in maize and head blight of cereal grains, also infects hemp (Cannabis sativa L. containing a maximum of 0.3% tetrahydrocannabinol or THC). This fungal pathogen produces trichothecene mycotoxins when it infects maize and cereal grains, but little is known about its production
