Five new iridoids, viburetins D–H, featuring dioxatricyclodecane and ring‑opened monocyclic skeletons, are isolated from the leaves of Viburnum macrocephalum f. macrocephalum, enriching the chemical diversity of Viburnum. Two new cadinane‑type sesquiterpenes, viburetones A and B, were isolated from Viburnum macrocephalum flowers, marking the first cadinane skeletons in this genus. Viburetone A showed dual α‑amylase and α‑glucosidase inhibition comparable to acarbose, and docking clarified its binding.

Chemical Constituents of the Deep‐Sea‐Derived Fungus Talaromyces wortmannii and Their Ferroptosis Inhibitory Activity

One new tyramine derivative (1) and 28 known compounds (2–29) were isolated from deep‐sea‐derived fungus Talaromyces wortmannii. Their structures were elucidated by NMR/MS and computational calculations. Compounds 2 and 6 potently inhibited ferroptosis with EC5₀ values of 4.52 and 13.73 µM.
