Precoded OFDM for asynchronous uplink with transparency to OFDM receiver
2017 IEEE 28th Annual International Symposium on Personal, Indoor, and Mobile Radio Communications (PIMRC), 2017A novel waveform design approach is taken to develop a waveform based on precoding of data symbols, referred to as Precoded OFDM. The waveform is tailored for robustness against asynchronous transmission and a simple OFDM receiver to keep its intricacies hidden from the system.

A Postfix Synchronization Method for OFDM and MIMO-OFDM Systems
2008 IEEE Wireless Communications and Networking Conference, 2008This paper proposes a synchronization method that uses as preamble two identical training parts (Chu sequences) followed by a flipped postfix (FlP) for OFDM and MIMO-OFDM systems. The proposed method provides symbol timing and carrier frequency offset (CFO) estimators.
