Enhancement of Femtosecond Photon Echo Signals From an Inhomogeneously Broadened InAs Quantum Dot Ensemble Using Chirped Pulses. [PDF]

open access: yesNanophotonics
Chirped rephasing pulses satisfying adiabatic conditions enable robust adiabatic rapid passage across a THz‐broadened InAs quantum dot ensemble. This approach provides uniform population inversion and broadband rephasing, overcoming the limitations of transform‐limited excitation.

Alignment and study of prototypes of the Offner hyperspectrometer

open access: yesВестник Самарского университета: Аэрокосмическая техника, технологии и машиностроение, 2016
A prototype of the hyperspectrometer based on the Offner scheme has been tested. Drawings have been produced and the main mirror elements of the hyperspectrometer including diffraction grating on a convex spherical surface have been fabricated.

Modeling action of a hyperspectrometer based on the offner scheme within geometric optics

open access: yesComputer Optics, 2014
We considered comparative modeling action of a hyperspectrometer based on the Offner scheme including prisms or a diffraction grating within the geometrical optics. It is shown that the use of a diffraction grating instead of a prism results in a more uniform spread of the spectral components of the dispersed image.

Star Formation with Adaptive Mesh Refinement Radiation Hydrodynamics [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
I provide a pedagogic review of adaptive mesh refinement (AMR) radiation hydrodynamics (RHD) methods and codes used in simulations of star formation, at a level suitable for researchers who are not computational experts.

The study of the basic operating parameters of a hyperspectrometer based on the Offner scheme

open access: yesProcedia Engineering, 2017
Abstract In this article, the comparing of mathematical modelling results of a hyperspectrometer based on the Offner’s scheme is considered. This modelling was carried on within geometric optics. The goal of this comparing was a confirmation of mathematical model correctness, which was developed.

A general hybrid radiation transport scheme for star formation simulations on an adaptive grid [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
Radiation feedback plays a crucial role in the process of star formation. In order to simulate the thermodynamic evolution of disks, filaments, and the molecular gas surrounding clusters of young stars, we require an efficient and accurate method for ...

EXPERIMENTAL STUDY OF THE OPTICAL TRANSFER FUNCTION (OTF) AND SPECTRAL ACCURACY OF THE IMAGING HYPERSPECTROMETER BASED ON THE OFFNER SCHEME

open access: yesCollection of selected papers of the II International Conference on Information Technology and Nanotechnology, 2016
We deal with the imaging spectrometer based on the Offner scheme. We define the optical transfer function of the imaging spectrometer based on the Offner scheme. We define the spectrum reconstruction error for red LED.

Magnetic fields in massive spirals: The role of feedback and initial conditions [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
Magnetic fields play a very important role in the evolution of galaxies through their direct impact on star formation and stellar feedback-induced turbulence.

Radiation-Hydrodynamic Simulations of the Formation of Orion-Like Star Clusters I. Implications for the Origin of the Initial Mass Function

open access: yes, 2011
One model for the origin of typical galactic star clusters such as the Orion Nebula Cluster (ONC) is that they form via the rapid, efficient collapse of a bound gas clump within a larger, gravitationally-unbound giant molecular cloud.
