Two Offset Printing Workers with Cholangiocarcinoma
Two Offset Printing Workers with Cholangiocarcinoma: Shinji KUMAGAI. Department of Management of Occupational Safety and Health, University of Occupational and Environmental Health, Japan—ObjectivesPreviously, the author reported a cluster of 11 cholangiocarcinoma cases exposed to 1,2‐dichloropropane (1,2‐DCP) and/or dichloromethane (DCM) in an offset ...

A simplified thermoplastic pultrusion model is developed to predict thermal fields in glass fiber/polyethylene terephthalate (GF/PET) composites with reduced computational cost. By combining effective material homogenization, validation against literature data, and Gaussian‐process‐based optimization, the study reveals how heating limits, pulling speed,

Investigation of the effects of different ink density values on color gamut in offset printing
A standard color gamut can be obtained with CMYK samples that are printed with an offset printing system according to the ISO 12647-2:2013. It is possible to enhance or widen the color gamut during the printing process by interfering with the density and

The influence of micro and macro porosity of paper on wet repellence mottling in offset printing [PDF]
Fountain solution induced mottling in offset printing manifests as nonhomogenous printing area with optical variation has several influencing factors. One mechanism is that the fountain solution from the previous printing unit has no time to absorb into ...

We develop a data‐driven method to derive the mathematical expressions of the Flory–Huggins interaction parameter χ for the swelling behavior of temperature–responsive hydrogels. Starting from initial assumptions of χ, our workflow combines Bayesian optimization, Flory–Rehner theory, and symbolic regression to generate candidate χ expressions.
