The Mechanisms Whereby Double Helical Offset-Toothed Synchronous Belt Produces Lower Noise Than Straight-Toothed Synchronous Belt: A Theoretical Investigation [PDF]
Recent experimental investigations demonstrate that the level of noise generated by double helical synchronous belt (DHSB) is lower than that by straight-toothed synchronous belt (STSB).

Analytical model of a fractional slot double‐layer‐winding vernier permanent magnet machine
This study presents an analytical model for predicting magnetic field and performances of a fractional slot (FS) double‐layer‐winding (DLW) vernier permanent magnet (VPM) machine. The model provides a close solution of magnetic field and performances of a FS DLW VPM machine and its calculation time is much less than finite element analysis on the base ...

Abstract With the large‐scale development of the ball mill, the direct‐drive gearless ball mill has emerged, eliminating the limitation of the transmission torque of large gear. However, it is difficult to process, transport, install and maintain the gearless ball mill because of its vast volume, and the coils cannot be decoupled freely.

Wind Tunnel Assessment of Dynamic Induction Control Under Varying Inflow Wind Directions
ABSTRACT Dynamic induction control (DIC), also known as pulse control, is a wake‐mixing strategy intended to improve wind farm efficiency by mitigating wake‐induced power losses. It typically employs harmonic collective blade pitching to excite wake instabilities, forming coherent pulsing structures that enhance turbulent mixing and accelerate wake ...
