Tropical Cyclone Rainfall Spatial Asymmetries in the Lesser Antilles
Rainfall is not proportional to the Saffir‐Simpson wind‐based categories. Lower category tropical cyclones (TS, H1, H2 and H3) can generate more intense rainfall than H4 and H5. Rainfall is asymmetric; as a tropical cyclone intensifies or weakens, the location of peak rainfall shifts.

If tidal electricity generation and storage replaced natural gas and battery storage by 2050, it could reduce the climate change impact of UK grid electricity by 71%, saving up to 4.4 Mt CO2 eq./y. Three‐Year Characterization of Boundary Layer Dynamics From GNSS Zenith Wet Delay Spectral Analysis
Three years of GNSS zenith wet delay observations at Payerne reveal that spectral parameters—cutoff frequency α and variance σ2—capture robust seasonal cycles in boundary layer turbulence (R2 = 0.54 for α). Their inverse coupling tightens to r = −0.82 under summer convection, encoding regime‐dependent physics.
