During regular operation of the SuedLink at a load ≤75 %, the average increase in temperature in the plowing horizon is expected to be less than 1.6°C in the soils along the route in Southwest Germany. ABSTRACT Background The SuedLink was planned as a high‐voltage direct‐current underground cable route. The construction itself is a massive intervention

ABSTRACT Constraining Arctic catchment response to Holocene climate change is vital for understanding future environments. We present detailed sedimentological, geochemical and grain size end‐member analysis of two Holocene (~7.0 ka to present) lake sequences, S1 and S2, close to Zackenberg, Northeast Greenland.

Uncertainty assessment for a novel optically shallow water radiometric acquisition platform
Abstract We present a novel motorized platform, a custom‐built jet‐ski designed for acoustic and radiometric measurements in optically shallow coastal waters. This platform integrates in‐water radiometers with single‐beam and multi‐beam acoustic sensors, along with a suite of active and passive instruments (conductivity‐temperature‐depth, fluorescence,

Estuaries as juvenile habitats for lutjanid and serranid fishes in tropical northeastern Australia [PDF]
A number of lutjanid and serranid fishes are thought to utilise tropical estuaries as juvenile habitats. However, little detailed biological or life-history information exists for any species, and the species compositions of these families inhabiting ...
