Upcycling Water Pollutants Into Long‐Chain Polymers via Synergistic Interfacial Dechlorination and Organic Radical Stabilization

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
HEO‐regulated electronic structure drives nonradical PI activation, promoting ETP‐mediated polymerization of 4CP into high‐molecular‐weight products with enhanced surface enrichment. Concurrent dechlorination occurs via radical coupling and •OHads attack, enabling efficient carbon retention and selective product evolution at the liquid–solid interface.

Inverse Vulcanization Through Epoxide Chemistry: A Low Temperature Non‐Olefin Route to Sulfur‐Rich Polymer Networks

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
Epoxide monomers undergo base‐catalyzed ring‐opening copolymerization with elemental sulfur to afford sulfur‐rich polymers under mild conditions. The resulting materials exhibit excellent mechanical performance, strong adhesion (up to 10 MPa on stainless steel), and outstanding reprocessability.

Paleovegetational Reconstruction and Implications on Formation of Oil Shale and Coal in the Lower Cretaceous Laoheishan Basin (NE China): Evidence from Palynology and Terpenoid Biomarkers

open access: yesEnergies, 2021
In some cases, the oil shale deposited in shallow lakes may be genetically associated with the coal-bearing successions. Although paleovegetation is an important controlling factor for the formation of oil shale- and coal-bearing successions, few studies
