The Macroeconomic Effects of Oil Price Shocks: Empirical Evidence for India [PDF]

open access: yes
This study assesses the oil prices-macaroeconomy relationship by means of multivariate VAR using both linear and non-linear specifications. Scaled oil prices model outperforms other models used in the study.

Parallel 3D Bioprinting on SLIPS‐Microarrays

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This work introduces the first truly parallel 3D bioprinting method, enabling both the simultaneous fabrication of hundreds of cell laden hydrogel 3D structures and their HTS in individual liquid compartments. By integrating Digital Light Processing (DLP) stereolithography with functional micropatterns, the platform decouples printing time from array ...

Triblock Polymer Engineering Enables Hydration‐Rich, High‐Performance, Fouling‐Resistant Interfaces

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A molecularly engineered triblock polymer (PHZ) rapidly reorganizes into a hydration‐rich interfacial layer on diverse surfaces, strongly suppressing hydrophobic attraction and fouling. The triblock polymer provides robust energy and steric barriers to oily foulants, enabling high‐performance antifouling at ultralow dosage.

The role of oil prices in monetary policy rules: evidence from 4 major central banks [PDF]

open access: yes
Recent movements in oil prices on international markets have generated many comments on the role that oil prices may play for Central Banks of oil-importing countries, oil price shocks being interpreted as supply shocks leading to higher inflation rates ...

Adaptive Hydrogels With Spatiotemporal Stiffening Using pH‐Modulating Enzymes

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The chemomechanical coupling in an adaptive hydrogel is studied to further the development of adaptive hydrogels. This coupling is achieved by embedding a pH‐modulating enzyme in a pH‐responsive hydrogel. The enzymatic reaction can be triggered locally, which generates a pH‐decreasing wave throughout the system, increasing the crosslinking density and ...

An Analysis of Oil Price Volatility Using VAR: Evidence From Pakistan

open access: yesThe Lahore Journal of Business, 2015
Oil is a crucial economic input and Pakistan’s growth, production levels, and price levels are affected significantly by oil price volatility. This paper captures the impact of oil price shocks on Pakistan’s economy by considering variables such as ...
