A Non‐Reciprocal Architected Porous Medium
ABSTRACT In several fluid flow, energy‐dumping, and energy‐harvesting applications, a dominant flow direction or dominant resistance direction is desirable. In this study, we propose a simple modular geometry that doubles flow resistance in one direction relative to the opposite direction, while maintaining laminar viscous flow.

Intelligent Decision Support Systems for Oil Price Forecasting
This research studies the application of hybrid algorithms for predicting the prices of crude oil. Brent crude oil price data and hybrid intelligent algorithm (time delay neural network, probabilistic neural network, and fuzzy logic) were used to build ...

On the Dynamics of an Oil Price Model [PDF]
We address the dynamic of an energy price model in a more general approach; to our knowledge, in previous works, different conditions are imposed on the energy price function at a particular value in order to characterize stability and unstability for real or complex eigenvalues.

THE INFLUENCE OF OIL PRICES ON INDONESIA’S EXCHANGE RATE
This study tests for a long-run relation between oil prices and the rupiah–US dollar exchange rate. We discover, first, that the long-run cointegration relation between oil prices and the real exchange rate (RER) is sensitive to different exchange rate ...

Active Learning‐Accelerated Discovery of Fibrous Hydrogels with Tissue‐Mimetic Viscoelasticity
Active learning accelerates the design of fibrous hydrogels that mimic the viscoelasticity of native tissues. By integrating multi‐objective optimization and closed‐loop experimentation, this approach efficiently identifies optimal formulations from thousands of possibilities and decouples elasticity and viscosity. The resulting hydrogels offer tunable

Estimating Asymmetric Fuel Price Responses in Croatia
According to many studies, the transmission of oil prices to retail fuel prices is asymmetric. Fuel prices react faster if oil prices rise and more slowly if oil prices fall. Different standard econometric procedures lead to different results.

The nanostructure, size, and function of mRNA‐loaded lipid nanoparticles are evaluated before drying, within polymer microneedles, and after rehydration. The results reveal the polymer and LNP loadings required to recover nanostructure and preserve the delivery performance in dry‐state formulations.
