Multi‐Module Micro/Nanorobots for Biomedical and Environmental Remediation Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
Multi‐module microrobots (MNRs) have overcome the limitations of single‐module systems by integrating components such as propeller, actuator, manipulator, and imaging modalities. They show promise in biomedical applications, such as targeted drug delivery and tissue repair, as well as in environmental remediation, including pollutant removal.

Toward Autonomous Self‐Healing in Soft Robotics: A Review and Perspective for Future Research

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
In this article, five different phases (damage detection, cleaning, damage closure, material healing, and healing assessment) are investigated to have an autonomous self‐healing at the system level with the focus on soft robotics. It delves into the importance of each phase, why and where they matter, and reviews relevant technologies that enable ...

H2S Sensing with SnO2‐Based Gas Sensors: Sulfur Poisoning Mechanism Revealed by Operando DRIFTS and DFT Calculations

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
The formation of sticky sulfite and sulfate surface species is identified as the root cause of the poisoning effect of H2S on SnO2‐based sensors by the compelling results and detailed analyses from operando DRIFTS experiments and density functional theory (DFT) calculations.

Longitudinal Proteomic Profiling of Cognition across an Aerobic Exercise Intervention

open access: yesAnnals of Neurology, EarlyView.
The physiological basis of cognitive decline remains largely uncharacterized. We identified a protein panel signature, in living humans, that correlates to improvement in neurocognition over a period of 5 years. Our signature is composed of complement proteins, coagulation cascade, and extracellular matrix regulators.
