Generalizing Gelatin Methacryloyl Granular Hydrogel Fabrication Using Stable Microgels with Predictable Stiffness

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Gelatin methacryloyl (GelMA) granular hydrogel scaffolds (GHS) are fabricated using a generalized two‐step photocrosslinking approach to yield stable (non‐dissolving) microgels suitable for in situ covalent assembly under physiological conditions. A phase diagram is developed to define the interplay between individual microgel stability and scaffold ...

Light‐Activatable Hyaluronic Acid‐Derivatives Releasing Nitric Oxide and Their Delivery in the Skin

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
This work explores the development of photoactivatable hyaluronic acid (HA) derivatives functionalized with nitric oxide (NO) photodonors for light‐controlled therapeutic applications. The HA derivatives demonstrate enhanced keratinocyte proliferation and migration, effective NO release, and skin penetration when formulated as microemulsions.

A bi-objective model to locate several bio-reneries and optimize their supplies [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the European Biomass conference & exhibition (EUBCE), Jun 2017, Stockholm, Sweden, 2023
Many research projects are devoted to biomass production, selection of new crops and bio-refinery processes but in comparison, the biomass supply chain to satisfy the planned demands of refineries are relatively neglected, although it could constitute the Achille's heel of the system.
