Neuropeptide Y—Graphene Oxide Complexes Inhibit Amygdala NPY‐Receptor Expressing Glutamatergic Pathways and Selectively Remove Aversive Memory In Vivo

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A graphene oxide nanocarrier presents neuropeptide Y specifically to NPY receptor‐expressing pathways in the amygdala, whose activation selectively suppresses aversive memory formation, without modulating anxiety responses. This circuit‐restricted drug release strategy may impact future design of neuropsychiatric therapies with limited off‐target ...

countries. It seems that these effects have modified during the last four decades. In other words, the effects of the oil shocks of 1970s on the industrialized economies of the oil importing countries have been mostly followed by an overwhelming ...

Cancer‐Associated BCL‐2 Mutants Reveal Mechanisms Towards Venetoclax Resistance

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Venetoclax (VEN) resistance in chronic lymphocytic leukemia arises from diverse BCL2 mutations. We map mechanisms contributing to VEN resistance across common BCL‐2 variants. G101V and D103Y reduce drug binding and increase sequestration of pro‐apoptotic proteins. V156D blocks VEN allosterically.

NSD2 Coordinates the Neurogenic‐to‐Gliogenic Transition via H3K36me2‐Dependent Activation of the EGFR‐ERK Pathway

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
NSD2 coordinates the neurogenic‐to‐gliogenic transition in the developing neocortex through H3K36me2‐dependent activation of EGFR–ERK signaling. Loss of NSD2 disrupts astroglial and oligodendroglial development, whereas ERK activation rescues gliogenic defects in vitro and in vivo.

Adaptive Responses of Tropical Crops: A Multi‐Scale Omics Integrated Perspective

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Tropical crops integrate genomic, morphological, physiological, and ecological adaptations to thrive under extreme and variable environments. This review highlights how natural selection, domestication, and breeding shape stress resilience, resource‐use strategies, and productivity in sugarcane, banana, cassava, rubber and oil palm, offering new routes

Maximizing the Energy Output of Soft Electrohydraulic Generators

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Many energy resources cannot be viably harvested with electromagnetic generators. This article evaluates the potential of soft electrohydraulic generators as an alternative approach for energy capture. An analytical model charts their operational limits and a rigorous experimental study results in new performance benchmarks with maximum specific energy
