The effect of photodynamic therapy in head and neck cancer: A comprehensive review of in vivo models
This review evaluates Photodynamic Therapy (PDT) in in vivo head and neck cancer models. PDT effectively generates ROS, reducing tumor growth, cell proliferation and angiogenesis while enhancing survival and immune responses. A bilayer protection approach is proposed for slowing down the surface potential decay of thin films of spontaneously‐polarized electret materials. The electret and the protective films are characterized, and the protection effectiveness is investigated under the effects of light illumination, water contact and mechanical impact.

Pt/C‐Catalyzed Deuteration of Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons with Suppressed Arene Hydrogenation
An additive‐enabled Pt/C protocol promotes hydrogen–deuterium exchange in fused polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in D2O/2‐PrOH at 80 °C. Decalin suppresses undesired ring hydrogenation while accelerating on‐ring H–D exchange, furnishing highly deuterated PAHs (PAHs‐dn).
