Polarized light emission by deposition of aligned semiconductor nanorods [PDF]
The ability to control the position and orientation of nanorods in a device is interesting both from a scientific and a technological point of view. Because semiconductor nanorods exhibit anisotropic absorption, and spontaneous and stimulated emission ...

Conductive Bonding and System Architectures for High‐Performance Flexible Electronics
This review outlines bonding technologies and structural design strategies that support high‐performance flexible and stretchable electronics. Bonding approaches such as surface‐activated bonding and anisotropic conductive films, together with system‐level architectures including buffer layers and island‐bridge structures, possess distinct mechanical ...

The title compound, C(5)H(13)NO, is an aliphatic amino-alcohol with both functional groups residing on terminal C atoms. Apart from the hy-droxy group, all non-H atoms are nearly co-planar, the maximum deviation of an atom taking part in the least-squares plane defined by the mentioned non-H atoms being 0.029 (1) Å.

Applying a high electric field to a doped organic semiconductor heats up the charge carrier distribution beyond the lattice temperature, enhancing conductivity. It is shown that the associated effective temperature can be used to extract the effective localization length, which is a characteristic length scale of charge transport and provides ...

2,4-Dibromonaphthalen-1-ol [PDF]
In the essentially planar (r.m.s. deviation = 0.023 Å) title compound, C(10)H(6)Br(2)O, an intra-molecular O-H⋯Br hydrogen bond generates an S(5) ring. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked by an ⋯O-H⋯O-H⋯O- C(2) chain extending along [100], which involves the same H atom that participates in the intra-molecular hydrogen bond.

Solution‐processed OLEDs containing discotic liquid‐crystalline MR‐TADF emitters are reported. Supramolecular self‐assembly induces homeotropic columnar alignment, enforcing preferential horizontal orientation of the emitter transition dipole moment in spin‐coated films, which leads to an enhancement in the device light outcoupling efficiency while ...
