AGGRESSIVE SALVAGE THERAPY OF OLFACTORY NEUROBLASTOMA CASE REPORT EXPERIENCE

open access: yesHematology, Transfusion and Cell Therapy
Objective: Olfactory neuroblastoma (ONB) is a rare malignant neoplasm arising from the olfactory neuroepithelium. It accounts for 3–5% of all nasal and Sinonasal malignancies, with an incidence of approximately 0.4 cases per million.

Pneumomediastinum and subcutaneous emphysema in the neck, axilla, and chest regions in a patient with olfactory neuroblastoma treated with chemoradiotherapy

open access: yesIndian Journal of Medical and Paediatric Oncology, 2018
Spontaneous pneumomediastinum and subcutaneous emphysema in the neck, axilla, and chest do not commonly occur after neoadjuvant cisplatin/etoposide chemotherapy, followed by radiotherapy, and adjuvant cisplatin/etoposide chemotherapy in patients with ...

Endoscopy-assisted medial canthus incision for olfactory neuroblastoma: a case report [PDF]

open access: yesWorld Journal of Surgical Oncology
Sinonasal malignant tumors are a group of uncommon malignancies that account for less than 1% of all tumors. These tumors often involve the maxillary sinus and nasal cavity, with less cumulative incidence in the ethmoidal sinus, sphenoidal sinus, and ...

Olfactory Neuroblastoma in a Heifer [PDF]

open access: yesVeterinary Pathology, 1981
A nasal neuroblastoma (esthesioneuroblastoma) extending into the brain in a heifer produced mouth breathing and proptosis. The mass filled much of the left nasal cavity, palatine sinus and maxillary sinus, with turbinate atrophy and deviation of the septum. Caudally the neoplasm extended into the nasopharynx and olfactory bulb.
