An analysis of the three major protocols of AODV, DSDV, and OLSR in the VANET environment based on the proposed ECIE method is the major focus of this work. The work performed authentication and encrypting of vehicles and route data before forwarding it. Furthermore, optimal neighbours were selected, and trustworthiness verified.

Implementation of Multipath and Multiple Description Coding in OLSR [PDF]
In this paper we discussed the application and the implementation of multipath routing and multiple description coding (MDC) extension of OLSR, called MP-OLSR. It is based on the link state algorithm and employs periodic exchange of messages to maintain topology information of the networks. In the mean time, it updates the routing table in an on-demand

Making On-Demand Routing Efficient with Route-Request Aggregation
In theory, on-demand routing is very attractive for mobile ad hoc networks (MANET), because it induces signaling only for those destinations for which there is data traffic.

Performance Optimization of MANET Networks through Routing Protocol Analysis
A Mobile Ad Hoc Network (MANET) protocol requires proper settings to perform data transmission optimally. To overcome this problem, it is necessary to select the correct routing protocol and use the routing protocol’s default parameter values. This study

Clustered DTN routing based on sensing node relationship strength
A novel clustered delay tolerant networks (DTN) routing model based on sensing node relationship strength are proposed. The routing mechanism takes advantage of the number of other nodes encountered by the nodes in the process of movement and the changes in the number of nodes to calculate the strength of the relationship between nodes, and clusters ...

Multi-Metric Energy Efficient Routing in Mobile Ad-Hoc Networks [PDF]
Increasing network lifetime by reducing energy consumption across the network is one of the major concerns while designing routing protocols for Mobile Ad-Hoc Networks. In this paper, we investigate the main reasons that lead to energy depletion and we introduce appropriate routing metrics in the routing decision scheme to mitigate their effect and ...

Analysis of the implicit trust within the OLSR protocol [PDF]
Trust is an interesting criterion for analyzing and comparing network protocols. The goal of this paper is to explicit the different types of trust relations between entities which exchange routing information and establish a routing infra-structure based on the OLSR protocol.
