Link stability based enhancements to OLSR (LS-OLSR)
The proliferation of Ad-Hoc network based applications have greatly increased the need for robust proactive routing protocol like Optimized Link State Routing (OLSR). OLSR uses Multipoint Relays (MPRs) for controlled flooding. The MPR selection process is defined as NP-complete set cover problem type.

Energy Efficiency in OLSR Protocol
In this paper we study in details the optimized link state routing (OLSR) protocol for ad hoc networks. In particular, we investigate its performance by focusing the attention on its energy efficiency. To have some terms of comparison the performance are compared with those of other routing schemes.

CAC-OLSR: Extending OLSR to Provide Admission Control in Wireless Mesh Networks
International Journal of Wireless Information Networks, 2014This work presents an admission control mechanism for multi-hop wireless mesh networks based on the IEEE 802.11 standard and the OLSR routing protocol. This mechanism, called CAC-OLSR, aims at ensuring that traffic flows with quality of service (QoS) requirements, especially voice and video, are only admitted in the mesh network if it has available ...

RBC-OLSR: Reputation-based clustering OLSR protocol for wireless ad hoc networks
Computer Communications, 2012We consider the problem of assuring the trustworthiness (i.e. reliability and robustness) and prolonging the lifetime of wireless ad hoc networks, using the OLSR routing protocol, in the presence of selfish nodes. Assuring the trustworthiness of these networks can be achieved by selecting the most trusted paths, while prolonging the lifetime can be ...
