An Administration Structure for the OLSR Protocol
2007The Optimized Link State Routing is one of the most important algorithms supporting the Mobile Ad Hoc Networks technology. The work hereby portrayed aims, therefore, to supply an administration structure for such protocol. The two framework components and the offered entities are a Management Information Base and a derived SNMP subagent implementation.

Analysis of MPR Selection in the OLSR Protocol
21st International Conference on Advanced Information Networking and Applications Workshops (AINAW'07), 2007Mobile ad hoc networks have very attractive intrinsic qualities. However they will be adopted only if they are able to support applications with QoS requirements. They must provide a route providing the QoS requested by a flow. The OLSR routing protocol can be extended for that purpose.

NC-OLSR: A network coding based OLSR multipath transmission scheme for FANETs
2017 4th International Conference on Systems and Informatics (ICSAI), 2017Multipath routing has been proved to improve the reliability and throughput of data transmission in ad-hoc networks. However, in FANETs, due to frequent link failures and rapid changes in network topology, it is difficult to dynamically build these paths and the maintenance overhead is also unacceptable.

Proceedings. 2004 International Conference on Information and Communication Technologies: From Theory to Applications, 2004., 2004
We show the impact of using delay routing on network performances. We proposed an extension of the OLSR (optimized link state routing) protocol taking end-to-end delay as a metric. The critical part of this work is the estimation of the one hop delay by each node, based mainly on Hello control packets statistics and MAC 802.11 layer specification ...

AODV and OLSR Routing Protocols in MANET
2013 IEEE 33rd International Conference on Distributed Computing Systems Workshops, 2013The growing of wireless and mobile technologies has resulted in more and more active researches to be done on scalability, performance, and compatibility of packet routing with minimal changes to the network. In this paper, we review two well known routing protocols in mobile ad hoc networks i.e., Ad hoc On-Demand Distance Vector and Optimized Link ...

Green OLSR in VANETs with differential evolution
Proceedings of the 14th annual conference companion on Genetic and evolutionary computation, 2012Vehicular ad hoc networks (VANETs) provide a communication platform to deploy information exchange applications among road users. The energy consumption of the involved terminals, that rely on limited battery power, has led to research to design energy-efficient communications.

Misbehaviors Detection to Ensure Availability in OLSR
2007In this paper, we investigate the use of Aspect-Oriented Programming (AOP) [13] in the domain of Mobile Ad-hoc NETworks (MANETs). More precisely we study the availability issues in Proactive routing protocols. This paper classifies the different possible attacks and examines the countermeasures to ensure availability.
