The effect of inflation and the failure of Silicon Valley bank on shareholder wealth
Review of Financial Economics, Volume 44, Issue 2, April 2026.Abstract This study examines how the collapse of Silicon Valley Bank (SVB) and heightened inflation affected shareholders wealth in U.S. financial institutions. Using daily stock returns from February 15 to March 29, 2023, we calculate abnormal and cumulative abnormal returns to measure market reactions.

Advanced Materials, Volume 38, Issue 14, 6 March 2026.A new quantum sensing modality detects shifts in zero‐field splitting caused by charge rearrangement with diamond nanocrystals in response to cellular activity. These electric‐field‐driven effects provide an alternative to temperature‐based interpretations, enabling real‐time, single‐cell readout of inflammation.
