Monitoring of circulating tumor DNA allows early detection of disease relapse in patients with operable breast cancer

Monitoring circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) in patients with operable breast cancer can reveal disease relapse earlier than radiology in a subset of patients. The failure to detect ctDNA in some patients with recurrent disease suggests that ctDNA could serve as a supplement to other monitoring approaches.

The detection of the fault phenomena found on three phase induction motors, as widely used in industry, from an electrical engineering viewpoint has been investigated. Various transducers are used, on a real motor, to establish connections between known fault and measurable changes in the signals from these transducers.
