Computers and Biomedical Research, 1973Abstract An automated system for monitoring vital signs and respiratory gases is described. By careful selection of analog and digital hardware, a relatively small and inexpensive system can be made to perform complex monitoring functions on a practical clinical basis.

Experiments in line quality monitoring

The LQM system uses a System/7 to gather information about the analog phenomena that occur on telephone data transmission lines. It gathers the information without taking the lines out of service.

CVP Lines: Monitoring and Maintaining
