A Rare Allele of ST5 From Wild Rice Enhances Salt Tolerance in Rice

A novel salt‐tolerance gene ST5W, characterized by a unique 36‐bp promoter insertion, is found exclusively in a small subset of Oryza rufipogon and is absent in cultivated rice. Field trials confirm ST5W significantly enhances rice yield across diverse genetic backgrounds under saline conditions.

One pot solution synthesis of cyclic oligodeoxyribonucleotides

Several cyclic oligodeoxynucleotides with different base composition and size have been prepared from 5',3'-unprotected linear precursors, using a bifunctional phosphorylating reagent. The final deprotected oligomers have been characterized by 1H- and 31P-NMR. The present procedure is particularly useful for millimolar scale syntheses.

Enzymatic DNA Reaction Networks for Orchestrating Stimuli‐Dependent Temporal Molecular Pulse

We present an enzymatic DNA reaction network (EDRN) that encodes nucleic‐acid targets in time, converting inputs into a universal strand and then into programmable transient fluorescence pulses. With time‐color multiplexing, EDRN enables single‐tube high‐plex nucleic acid detection and shows strong agreement with clinical sequencing across 32 specimens.
