Hippo pathway at the crossroads of stemness and therapeutic resistance in breast cancer
Dysregulation of the Hippo pathway drives nuclear accumulation of YAP/TAZ, activating stemness‐related transcriptional programs that sustain breast cancer stemness and fuel therapeutic resistance across subtypes, underscoring Hippo signaling as a targetable vulnerability. Figure created and edited with BioRender.com.

Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.

CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3
PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.

As its name suggestes, Global Health aims to approach health issues broadly and comprehensively both from a geographical and a conceptual point of view. In this demand, the human–animal–ecosystem interface cannot be left behind: the One Health approach, an improved integration among disciplines that enhances cross-sectoral collaboration between ...

Abstract This chapter presents examples that demonstrate how economic analysis involving human and animal health sectors has become a central element for providing evidence of the added value of a One Health approach, then reflects on the new developments in One Health, in particular, approaches based on systems thinking, and their implications

AbstractOne health has brought to the fore connections—between human culture and nature—that underlie healthy (and unhealthy) ecological niches. Like other emerging environmental concepts—eco‐health, one medicine and planetary health—one health merges scientific evidence with reasons for sustaining a healthy environment.

SALUTE E SOCIETÀOver the past two decades, the ecological approach to health has emphasized the interconnectedness between human health, biodiversity, ecosystem integrity, and socioeconomic conditions. As these systems are deeply interlinked, social and environmental justice must be considered interdependent, since crises in one area have the potential to impact other
