The terrestrial Isopods (Oniscidea) of the Arabian Peninsula

The terrestrial Isopoda of Corsica (Crustacea, Oniscidea)
1996seventy-six species of terrestrial isopods are recorded from Corsica. Eight species (Oritoniscus punctatus, Tiroloscia montana, Platyarthrus corsicus, Cylisticus uncinatus, Alloschizidium campanellii, Armadillidium lanzai, A, littorale and A. torchiai) are described as new and twelve are newly recorded from the island.

2000Prior to the present study, fourteen species of terrestrial isopods had been recorded from Oman. The systematic status of a species of Periscyphis, previously not fully identified, has been reconsidered; it is described here as a new species (Periscyphis dhofarensis).
