Development and External Validation of an Interpretable Machine Learning‐Based Prediction Model for Depressive Symptoms in Patients With Obstructive Sleep Apnea: A Multicenter Study

This multicenter study developed and externally validated an interpretable random forest model to predict depressive symptoms in patients with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). By integrating biopsychosocial factors, the model identified perceived stress, AHI, and hypertension as top predictors.
